For some time now the Center has been carrying fair trade, organic coffee, chocolate and cocoa from the Interfaith Equal Exchange. I have stopped ordering on a regular basis as it has not been the success we’d hoped for! We do understand though. Now that these items are more easily obtained in local grocery stores, people find it easier to buy there rather than coming down to the Center. Our main reason for stocking these items at our Center was to encourage people to buy fair trade and organic coffee and chocolate. However, if you regularly come down to the Center for meetings or live close by, won’t you consider buying from us?
Here is what we have left right now: Coffee: French Roast; Ethiopian; Mind, Body and Soul; and decaf (all whole bean.) Regular is $8.50 and decaf is $9.00. Chocolate: Ecuador Dark Chocolate; Chocolate Caramel Crunch with Sea Salt; Mint Chocolate; Orange Dark Chocolate; Milk Chocolate. Bars are $3.00 each. We have no Cocoa left.
We also have some great canvas bags, usually at $15.00 each, but we are discounting them to $12.00. They have the Center’s logo on them and “I love my country, but I think we should start seeing other people”.
