Monday, February 24, 6:30 – 8 pm, Fresno Center for Nonviolence, Peace Fresno invites you an organizing meeting in support of a one-year project to raise awareness of the threat to life on our planet posed by nuclear weapons. During the year we’ll circulate a petition to the U.S. President and Senate in support of the UN Nuclear Weapons Ban Treaty. The petition can be used to start conversations about nuclear weapons with friends, neighbors, family and elected representatives. The project is gaining the support of many local groups.This meeting is for groups and individuals who were unable to attend the prior meeting. We’ll have snacks.
