We will remember the horror and acknowledge the role of the U. S. in the deaths of 500 Vietnamese civilians – mostly women, children, and elderly. As we pause and reflect on the human cost of war, may we recommit ourselves to working for peace and social justice in the world today.

Fifty years ago at the height of the American war in Vietnam an event, known as the My Lai Massacre, took place in a small village. Five hundred civilians were killed by U.S. troops. This traveling exhibit created by Veterans For Peace uses the My Lai Massacre as the lens to view the tragic impact of the war on the people of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
