We will have a table at the Earth Day event on Saturday from 10-4 being held at Radio Park – 1st and Clinton. An exciting hands-on activities for kids (or kid like adults!) will be painting butterflies on to poster board – and for their trouble they will get a packet of milkweed seeds to plant in their gardens. Could we lose the Monarch Migration in our Lifetime? Yes! They are at 97% fewer than at their recorded height and 50 % less than last year.
We’ll also have our fair trade, organic coffee for sale. And….. we want to take photos to add to the Center’s Facebook – so unless you are incognito, come and pose for us!
