Here is the link to the Center’s “Stir It Up” radio show that was aired yesterday with guest Diana Donlon and we spoke about the importance of healthy soil – that it stores water, improves food yields and sequesters carbon. I really knew very little on the subject and thought that perhaps I’m not the only one! So, if you didn’t listen to it, I urge you to do so. Diana Donlon is the director of Food and Climate at the Center for Food Safety where her work centers on advancing the global opportunity to mitigate climate change, increase food and water supplies and protect habitat through rebuilding soil carbon. Take a look at the website www.soilsolution.org, a program of the Center for Food Safety where you can find lots of good information and the new four-minute film that Diana Donlon produced and shown at the recent UN Climate Conference in Paris.
