Wednesday, May 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center, 5340 N. Fresno (SE corner of N. Fresno and Barstow near Educational Employees Credit Union)   Forum:  Islamophobia: The Current Face of Racism in America. In view of the escalating acts of violence, discrimination and racism against the Muslim community (and Sikh community), this forum is designed to express solidarity with these communities, educate, and explore how best to oppose the racism and support affected communities. There will be a speakers’ panel with representatives from the Muslim, Sikh, African American, Japanese American, Latino, and Native American communities. The forum is hosted by Peace Fresno and co-sponsored by Fresno Center for Nonviolence, WILPF and Human Rights Coalition of the Central Valley.
