Here is our March calendar – not much this coming month.  We are gearing up for the 2020 West Coast Activist Conference for Peace and Social Justice on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd which is to be held at the National Chavez Center in La Paz, Keene, CA.  You will be getting more information on this soon.

Also, to put on your calendars, is our 28th Anniversary on Saturday, June 13th 4-6 p.m. at the Community United Church of Christ, 5550 N. Fresno Street.   As usual we will have our Way of Peace Awards and our keynote speaker this year will be Marylia Kelley from Tri-Valley Cares speaking about nuclear weapons concerns.

Wednesday, March 11th on KFCF 88.1 from 3 to 3:30 p.m. our Center for Nonviolence ‘Stir It Up’ Radio show   will be hosted by Joshua Shurley.  His guest will be Pat Elder, investigative journalist,  and they will be discussing the toxic legacy of water contamination on and around military bases.  This will be a call-in show so if you have any questions call 559-266-8888.  For more information, you can call the Center for Nonviolence at 559-237-3223 Mon-Fri from 11-3.
