FCNV 27th Anniversary

May 4, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

There will be a silent auction, a potluck meal, and our keynote speaker will be Alison Weir, founder and executive director of “If Americans Knew”, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Americans with information on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which is misreported or under-reported in the mainstream media.

Our Way of Peace awards will be given to Mai Thao, a Fresno-based activist and just appointed Regional Program Manager – Fresno Government Operation Agency California Complete Count-Census 2020 by California’s Governor;  and Fresnans Against Fracking as our organization award.

We have chosen a Youth award but await confirmation.

Keynote Speaker: Alison Weir

“Ms Weir presents a powerful, well-documented view of the Middle East today. She is intelligent, careful, and critical. American policy makers would benefit greatly from hearing her first-hand observations and attempting to answer the questions she poses. This is an intellectual, thought-provoking, and worthwhile presentation.”

Thomas Campbell

Former US Congressman (R-CA))
Dean of Chapman University Fowler School of Law
