One of our supporters, Cherylyn Smith, has made the proposal about a possible Book- Talk, using Naomi Klein’s “This Changes Everything.” This book is not only a strong foundation for raising awareness of the problem from a socio-political and historical perspective, but it is extremely accessible and reaches every reader in a meaningful way.
Cherylyn proposes getting started in tandem with the Citizens’ Climate Lobby action on June 22nd and 23rd. If there are enough people interested, these meetings will be held at the Center for Nonviolence; otherwise with a smaller group Cherylyn has offered the use of her home.
