Saturday, September 15th at Studio 65, 2965 N. Maroa (240-3200) Doors open at 6:30pm, auction starts at 7:30pm Join us for what “threatens” to be the most unique event of the social calendar, “Art On The Edge”; a gala and art auction featuring abandoned and discarded fine and not so fine art. Our art experts have scoured the country- side selecting only the finest works from yard sales, thrift stores and flea markets. There are, to be sure, some undiscovered masterpieces to be had. Auctioneer for the evening will be the universally unknown art historian, Peter McDonald. He’s really art smart. Your $20.00 ticket brings you hors d’oeuvres, desserts, wine and beverages and the chance to take home a one-of-a -kind work of art. Only 100 tickets will be sold for this “very uppity event.”  For info and tickets call Fresno Center for Nonviolence (559) 237-3223.

The Fresno Center for Nonviolence wishes to thank the marvelous Guy & Kathy of Studio 65 for the use of their wonderful space.  Studio 65 provides dance lessons and all necessary dance supplies and was awarded Best Hidden Gem in Fresno” by the Fresno Bee. Thanks also to Avigdar Adams whose brain child this is.
