Contact reza@icfresno.org;  559-297-9535.  Medea Benjamin is a political activist, best  known for her co-founding of Code Pink and Global Exchange.  Her book “Kingdom of the Unjust: Behind the U.S.-Saudi Connection” will be available for sale.  Medea has won many awards, including the MLK Jr. Peace Prize and the Gandhi Peace Prize “to honor her for her unyielding advocacy for social justice for over 30 years.” This event is being co-sponsored by the Islamic Cultural Center, Fresno Center for Nonviolence, Peace Fresno, WILPF, Human Rights Coalition of the Central Valley, Progressive Democrats of America, Palestine Freedom Project.
