International Day of Peace events in Fresno

Peace Fresno, Fresno Center for Nonviolence, Newman Center Peace and Social Justice Committee and Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Committee are looking at organizing an event on the International Day of Peace, Sunday, September 21. There are many things happening on that day.

1. Beginning of Campaign Nonviolence Action week
2. Launching of a new movement World Beyond War
3. People’s Climate March in New York City

Book Sale on September 27th

We would very much appreciate help both at the book sale itself on Saturday, September 27th and help with sorting books, DVDs, and  CDs into categories prior to the sale.  The books will be at the Center at 1584 N Van Ness Ave (SE corner Van Ness and McKinley) and we are open from 11-3 Mon-Fri.  Send me an email if you can help at angela.price41@comcast.net.
