2nd Wednesday Film Series

Each 2nd Wednesday of the month the Center for Nonviolence shows a film
either at the Center itself (1584 N. Van Ness, Fresno) or at a larger venue
like a library if we are expecting more people to attend. We have showings at

Fair Trade Program

The Center maintains a Fair Trade program which includes organic coffee, baking & drinking cocoa, green teas and chocolate bars from the interfaith program of Equal Exchange.

Our coffees include  French Roast, Café Salvador, Love Buzz and our newest coffee “Organic Sister’s Blend”.  With this special blend, we honor women coffee farmers who are active in their cooperatives and women in the U.S., who advocate for Fair Trade.  We also stock organic hot chocolate and baking cocoa and for all chocolate lovers we have a great selection of chocolate bars, including Panama Extra Dark Chocolate, Mint Chocolate and Chocolate Caramel . . . → Read More: Fair Trade Program

The Ebay Project: A Painless Way to Help the FCNV

Your “trash” might be our “treasure.”   One of our volunteers, Gioia Frank has undertaken the FCNV Ebay Project.  Gioia will take your discards and try to make money for the Center by listing them on ebay, craigslist, or clovisyardsale.   Things that don’t sell will be freecycled or donated.   Bring items to the Center during open hours, or call for a pick up.  Almost anything can be donated, large or small, and you’ll receive a tax-deductible receipt and our sincere thank you.

Call the Center at 559-237-3223 or send a note to Gioia at Center.for.Nonviolence@gmail.com
